Recognizing Early Programming and Toxic Normalcy

Did you know that from age 0-7 your brain is in a theta brainwave state?

Theta waves are also known as "suggestible waves" because of their correlation to being in a hypnotic state.

This means that from the time we are brought earthside to the time we are about 7 years old we are operating in a state of hypnosis, gathering all the information around us and absorbing it without Any filter, accepting whatever is experienced as Life.

Our nervous systems are also in this state, connected directly to the nervous system of our mother, or caregiver, solely depending on Their regulation. The prefrontal cortex and social nervous systems are not yet developed.

Therefore, we are emotional beings, unable to self regulate or create a feeling of safety and security for ourselves until at least 7 years old, leaving us vulnerable to our surroundings.

It has been said that every trauma we experience in life is an evolution of a trauma from 7 years old or younger.

I believe we must break the cycles that keep us scared, sick, and sad. As a society we have fallen into a lull. Complacency. We have been programmed from a young age with many limiting and fearful thought patterns- but we have a choice to reimagine our reality.

Recognizing the fear based thought patterns

It is said that 80% of the information carried in our physical bodies, within our tissues and internal waters, is from our three closest generations. We hold their experiences, emotions, and traumas to help us continue to learn, grow, and evolve.

There has been so much generational trauma occurring over our recent human history. Which lends to the increase in fear programming we are given early in life. That somatic memory of famine, slavery, debt, depression, war, etc. cause disruptions in our nervous system and thought patterns.

What parts of you Are You?

Societal patterns?

Generational traumas?

Suppressed emotions?

What parts do you want to enhance?

You get to Choose and Nurture You.

Drop Fully Into Yourself

With mindfulness tools like guided meditation, journaling, Qigong, yoga, and much more we can begin to truly tune into our inner world and our own intuition. Stop diluting your own knowing by always searching outside yourself for answers you have within. Honor your emotions. Do your research on reputable sites and question Everything you are told, even and especially by scientists, politicians, and spiritual speakers, but always come back to your own being to discern what feels right in your own being.

Follow what feels right.

Redefine Your Normal

There are so many things that are considered normal in our daily lives that are either draining, dehydrating, toxic, or just plain unnecessary.

From the chemicals in our food supply and health products to the sheer belief that we must be consistently producing and consuming in order to be a worthy member of society. The idea that self care is selfish or that we must seek outside of ourselves for validation or that pleasure is in anyway shameful; all of these are suppressive societal 'norms'.

The beauty in realizing that these beliefs and practices exist in society and how much they no longer resonate with us gives us the opportunity to choose what we want to accept as our own current 'normal'.

We can choose to redefine our normal, as we see fit. You can see this happening all over the world already, little by little, people and groups of people are standing in their authenticity, proudly recreating the narratives that have harmed so many for so long. Rooted in love, for the planet, for themselves, for those close to them.

These also don't have to start as huge, life-altering changes- they can be as simple as what we buy at the grocery store to fuel our bodies, or how we talk to ourselves throughout the days. Empowering Daily Foundations can make a lifetime of difference in the reality we live in.
